Melina Jacobson
SOFTBALL INSTRUCTOR

As a Watauga County local, I grew up playing baseball in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. After switching over to softball in high school, I received multiple All-Conference/State awards as a 4-year starting varsity third baseman. From there, I went on to play Division I Softball. It is an honor to invest back into the same community that once fully invested in me.
I specialize in hitting, slap/bunting, and infield and outfield defensive play. I offer foundational pitching instruction that centers around proper body mechanics and ball control. I maintain a strong background in sport-specific training by providing a comprehensive plyometric, agility, and strength training plan for athletes.
